We envision transforming our world starting with the very communities we live in. Our experience thus far has inspired us to innovate an approach that is simple, yet profound in its effect.  We call it the “3E” approach:

COMMUNITY ACTION

Empathy, Education, and Economics.

1) Empathy: understanding and feeling each other is the foundation on which we strive for a common goal.

2) Education: ensuring we have the know-whats, know-hows, and know-whys to see things through in a practical sense.

3) Economics: providing the infrastructure for how we generate and sustain the goods and services produced from our collective efforts.

How it looks in practice:

Hawaii, like many places globally, has a native population that is undereducated, underserved, and suffering from many health-related issues due in large part to the incompatible lifestyles imposed on them through colonization.

Our project entitled, “The Herbal Tee Collection” considers the connection we have with our Creator, the land we have stewardship over, and our traditional medicinal practices (Empathy) to produce culturally relevant educational content, merchandise, and actual teas in an effort to spread and maintain the ancient knowledge and benefits of plant medicine for generations to come (Education).

Our long-term goal is to plant a community herbal garden that provides the space to connect with the land, exchange wisdom, and harvest the God-given medicinal plants that have aided us since time immemorial (Economics).
